Kindergarten Registration

Registration for children entering Poland Local Schools Kindergarten this Fall will be held on two consecutive Saturdays – March 2, 2024 and March 9, 2024. Children presently enrolled in our McKinley Kindergartens do not re-register forfirst grade. All Kindergarten registrations will be held at the Dobbins Early Learning Building at 3030 Dobbins Road. Registration will be from 9:00AM – Noon on both Saturdays. Please use the Gym door entrance only, located on the side of the building. Only one parent/guardian from each family is required to attend the registration process. Also, it is not necessary to bring your child to this registration process. Parents or guardians must provide the following information, please bring originals.

It is imperative that you bring the items below at the time of registration. We cannot register without them.

1. The child’s original birth certificate
2. The child’s immunization records
3. Proof of residency (mortgage documents, house closing papers, or rental agreement)
4. Parent identification (drivers license & 2 current utility bills or credit cards statements)
5. If applicable, custody papers

*Please be advised that NO registration papers will be given out prior to March 2nd.

A child entering Kindergarten must be five years of age on or before August 1st to be eligible for admission. 

A Kindergarten screening program is planned for April 16 & 17, 2024 at the Dobbins Building. Parents will be given an appointment time for the screening during the registration process. It is important that all incoming kindergarten students are registered and screened.
