Every flyer that is returned to the Poland Handel’s on that one special day will be totaled and the organization will receive 20% of the total sales.

Poland Local School District will be conducting bus evacuation drills on September 18 & 20. Please note that these are drills and that our transportation staff will be instructing students throughout the process. McKinley & Poland Middle Students will perform the drill Friday, September 20 upon morning arrival to school. PSHS Students will perform the drill Wednesday, September 18 before afternoon departure from school.

SPELLING BEE! Our third-grade students have been diligently improving their spelling skills. The culmination of their hard work was the class spelling bee, where finalists showcased their abilities in a friendly competition. Congratulations to Elaina P. for achieving first place, Leo D. for securing second place, and Olivia C. for earning third place! All our finalists demonstrated remarkable skill in each round!

IT'S A HIT! ⚾️ Under the direction of Ms. Senatore, the first grade Bulldogs from McKinley Elementary stole some bases and our hearts at their spring concert! They were on pitch, throwing right into the STRIKE ZONE! Our smooth dance moves got us out of a PICKLE too! Overall, the night was a home run for our ALL STARS! Way to go!

When second graders from Miss Lawless' class approached Principal Mr. Beard with the idea of hosting a lemonade stand, his initial response was one of hesitation; typically, such activities are reserved for at-home fun. However, touched by the students' passionate plea to support pediatric cancer research, Mr. Beard was moved to give his approval. The students transformed their young entrepreneurial spirit into a charitable cause by hosting a lemonade stand that raised over $400 for pediatric cancer research and treatment! Read the story:
