The week of September 18-22 is Start with Hello Week! McKinley Elementary, Poland Middle School, and Poland Seminary High School will be uniting in kindness and in uniform as we dress for our theme days! It all starts with a simple "Hello!"
K-12 THEME DAYS
- Monday: Wear Green to support Start with Hello week
- Students are encouraged to wear green.
- Today’s random act of kindness is to say hello addressing others by their first name.
- Tuesday: Be Bright and show kindness to others
- Students are encouraged to wear neon/bright colors.
- Today’s random act of kindness is to compliment someone about what makes them unique. Remember to be genuine with your compliments.
- Wednesday: Favorite Sports Team apparel because we are all part of a team
- Students are encouraged to wear their favorite sports team apparel.
- Today’s random act of kindness is to ask someone a question to get to know them better.
- Thursday: Flashback to your parents’ generation - Wear 70s, 80s, or 90s apparel
- Today’s random act of kindness is to write a kind note for a friend or teacher that simply tells them that you appreciate them and that you are happy they are in your life.
- Friday: Poland Pride to encourage connectedness in our community
- Students are encouraged to wear Poland gear.
- Today’s random act of kindness is to do something kind for a family member.
