November 13, 2024 - World Kindness Day

World Kindness Day is Wednesday, November 13th, and Poland Local Schools invites students/staff to wear bright/neon colors. We ask that parents and children participate by doing one random act of kindness. We will select a few student's kind acts to share on our morning announcements each day during the week of November 11th thru to Thanksgiving Break. This act of kindness can be done by giving someone a compliment, smiling and saying hi in the hallway, holding the door open for others, helping out a family member or friend, asking someone to play with you at recess, or simply by being a kind friend. Parents and caretakers, please record your child’s random act of kindness below and return it to your child’s homeroom teacher by Friday, November 8th. Then, wear bright/neon colors for World Kindness Day on Wednesday, November 13th. Let’s all choose KINDNESS throughout the day and see what magic can happen!
